MS Excel Practice Questions
In this series of blogs, we will post MS Excel Practice Questions. These questions will be helpful for the candidates who have attended our MS Excel training as well as others who wish to learn and practice.
This first section covers the overview of MS Excel and contains basic concepts, in the subsequent blogs we will be covering more advanced techniques. Explore more by practicing questions on Conditional formatting in excel.

Ques1. Create the following sheet in MS Excel. Format the sheet exactly the way shown below.

Ques 2. What is the address (Row/Column) of Product ID = 4, Sub-Category = Chairs
Ques 3. How can we see the data only for Category = Furniture. See the screen shot below for the output.

Ques 4. Refer to the data in screen shot Figure1. Sort Sub-Category from in alphabetical order. Refer to the screen shot below for the output.

Ques 5. What option you will choose to search Chairs in the entire data set.
Ques 6. Create an exact copy of the worksheet you are working on. Mention the steps/options you will take to achieve this.
Ques 7. Create a heading above the dataset, the way it is shown in the screenshot below.

Ques 8. Do not display the Discount column in the data shown above in Figure4. Make sure not to delete it. Refer to the screen shot below for the output.

Ques 9. In the above sheet, on any empty cell enter a word – MS Excel. Link it to the url https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Excel. Refer to the screen shot below.
